41-6 blowout puts Bath County first place in the Pioneer

Chargers dominate

The Bath County Chargers held the Parry McCluer Blues to 14 first-half offensive yards and no points while racking up 277 yards  and 28 points en route to a 41-6, blowout of the Blues last night.
Bath running back J.P. Plecker scored twice on runs of 67 and 24 yards; fullback Derek Brinkley scored on a one-yard plunge; flanker Dillon Fry hit paydirt on a 54-yard TD catch; tailback Dustin Bratton scored from three yards out; and QB Michael Robertson waltzed in the end zone from three yards out for the Bath scores.
The win puts Bath first place in the Pioneer (2-0, 5-2 overall) and bumps Parry McCluer to the cellar (0-2, 1-7) with three regular season games left.
The Chargers face Craig at home next Friday at Carl F. WIlliams Field.
