Locker room plumbing tentatively approved
      HOT SPRINGS — Almost $26,000 in plumbing work in the Bath County High School football locker room was approved Tuesday by the Bath County School Board. However, the approval was contingent on money being received and appropriated by supervisors.

Highland teachers concerned about budget, personnel
      MONTEREY — The Highland County Education Association has two "main areas of concern" — money and personnel — HCEA representative Nancy Vance told the Highland County School Board Monday. "It is disconcerting that hundreds of thousands of dollars were turned back in to the board of supervisors in June," she said.
