MILLBORO — Bonnie Sue Hodge, 61, of 792 Tunnel Hill, Millboro, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at her residence.
She was born Feb. 6, 1952 in Clifton Forge, the daughter of Mary Losh and the late Johnny Losh. She was married to John P. Hodge, whom she married on July 3, 1970.
Mrs. Hodge was a cook for Camp Mont Shenandoah. She was the last class to graduate from Millboro High School. Mrs. Hodge was a member of Woodland Church and a member of the Millboro Area Rescue Squad where she served as the secretary. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Losh of Millboro; her husband John, of Millboro; two daughters Melissa Dawn Hodge of Mustoe, and Kimberly Heffler and husband Greg of Millboro; six grandchildren, Frances Arline of Millboro, Joey Arline of Baconton, Ga., Jennifer Arline, Christian Heffler, John Heffler and Hannah Heffler all of Millboro; and her dog, Buddy.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 30, at Millboro Funeral Home with Pastor David George and the Rev. John Haney officiating.
Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Staunton.
Pallbearers will be Greg Heffler, Christian Heffler, John Heffler, Jamey Wood, Robert Plecker and Larry Plecker.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday evening at Millboro Funeral Home.
