Don’t rush decision on pipeline camp

At the March 22 hearing with the planning commission and the board of supervisors, one of the agenda items was a proposed RV camp for pipeline workers. After neighbors asked lots of questions about the proposal, it was mentioned that Bath County has already approved a pipeline worker camp.
It turns out Bath County set several conditions on the permit for that camp. For a 28-acre property, Bath allowed only nine RVs. Additional conditions also apply:
