More training flights bode hardship on agriculture



MONTEREY — Monday, the Highland County Economic Development Authority approved sending a letter outlining concerns over “severe financial hardship” resulting from more low-flying fighter jets training locally.

The letter to Ramon Ortiz, Air Force technical lead environmental planner, from EDA chair Bryan Obaugh stated:
