School board chairman says meeting will go on as planned though he will attend virtually


MONTEREY — Highland County School Board chairman Kenny Hodges said he tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, and the school system issued a notice that anyone attending the Tuesday, Aug. 31 meeting should be aware of exposure and watch for symptoms.

But the meeting set for this Wednesday is a “go,” he said, though he will not attend in person.
