BCHS video takes honorable mention
Bath County High School students Karleigh McMullen, Meaghan Ryder, and Skylar Shelton received an honorable mention at the Virginia School Boards Association conference Student Video Competition with their 30-second video. High school students across Virginia were challenged to create a video around the them of “Choice,” and winners were selected from 67 submissions.

Independent running against Republican Ben ClineJohn Winfrey is the Independent candidate for the Va. House of Delegates, 24th district seat. Winfrey is running aagainst incumbent Republican Ben Cline. Winfrey visited Mitchelltown on Oct. 25 and discussed issues of importance to people of the district. Ben Cline was invited but could not attend.The election is Tuesday, Nov. 7.
